Veterans Day is celebrated November 11th and honors the end of WWI. The day is set aside each year to honor those who at one time or another served in the military forces of the United States.
Memorial Day is celebrated in May to honor those who were killed in action while serving as a member of the armed forces.
Armed Forces Day also in May, honors those who are currently serving on Active Duty, the Reserve forces or the National Guard.
