St. Paul’s is a rich, holy, and beautiful place to worship inside the church and with our community during the holy season of Lent and Easter

Early Christians observed “a season of penitence and fasting” in preparation for the Paschal feast, or Pascha (Book of Common Prayer, pp. 264-265). The season is now known as Lent (from an Old English word meaning “spring,” the time of lengthening days) has a long history. St. Paul’s Episcopal Church begins the observance of the holy period of Lent on Ash Wednesday, and continues through Easter Sunday.
